Every NBA Team’s 2018-19 Jersey, Officially Ranked

6: Atlanta Hawks

So basically, the Atlanta Hawks mixed together a bunch of different colors, and came away with the one of the nicest jerseys in the NBA.

Black is in again, red has always been in, and then yellow has to be used right, like the Pacers did, for it to look good. Well, Nike was spot on with these ones.

There’s a unique like 3D pattern in the background of these jerseys that make them really nice.

The 3D effect with a mix of unique colors really give these jerseys some life.

5: Los Angeles Lakers

How can you say no to a Los Angeles Lakers jersey? The iconic purple and yellow jerseys are a need if you collect basketball jerseys. And who knows, this offseason you may be able to purchase one of these iconic numbers with a new face in LeBron James.

Nike didn’t need to change up these jerseys, especially with all the history behind the organization. And the new black jerseys aren’t too bad either. But nothing beats the jerseys that Kobe Bryant used to wear.

4: Boston Celtics

Another iconic jersey is high on this list. The green and white on the Boston Celtics jersey is so unique because you really don’t see those other colors in other sports. You see forest green or neon green in other sports and the NBA, but you rarely see just green.

Nike didn’t have to change anything for this one, except add the GE logo to it.

And for some strange reason, the GE logo looks really good on the jerseys. Especially considering the color of the logo changes depending on what jersey they wear.

3: Charlotte Hornets

There’s only one team in the NBA without the Nike checkmark on their logo. Who else would it be rather than the Charlotte Hornets? Since 2006, Michael Jordan has owned a portion of the Hornets. Jordan hasn’t been able to help this team win at all, but at least he got them all nice jerseys. The purple and teal is a fun color for the team to wear, and may help increase their merchandise sales even though their team continues to play poorly.

2: Cleveland Cavaliers

Usually, there aren’t dramatic changes when a new company takes over to design all the new jerseys. And the Cleveland Cavaliers jerseys aren’t a huge difference, but the difference they did make these jerseys look really sharp.

Something about the lettering and edges around the jersey make it look really clean.

Plus, the new jerseys are slightly darker than the old ones. Not to mention, the black Cavs jersey is an upgrade from the old school t-shirts that they wore when they won the 2016 NBA Finals.

1: Miami Heat

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Nothing, will beat the Miami Heat’s new Miami Vice jerseys. Going into the season, the Heat had nice jerseys. They would probably be top 10 without the new ones, but then mid-season, these new sick jerseys came out just in time for when Dwyane Wade could come back home. They’re the perfect South Beach style outfits. The Miami Marlins have very Florida-like jerseys, and the Heat followed by getting a tropical jerseys that perfectly describe Florida. When putting it all together, the Heat’s set of unis come out on top.
